The 1st Annual
Sunday Cypher Awards will take place on
March 31st, 2012 at the Mt. Baker
Resort. A judging panel of over forty
voters will determine across 27
categories to recieve the coveted
Einstein award. The award show has been
in planning for a full year and has cost
$1,300 to date, not including the awards
from the raffle (Sunday Cypher Hoodies from Innate and more!) and
remaining purchases (red carpet, kegs,
etc.). On top of the great location,
awards, and free schwag you'll receive,
the voter whose results most closely
match the award winners will receive an Xbox 360 Console from Lokeye with a full year's subscription to Xbox LIVE in addition to some free games.
In order to pay this
party off, tickets start at $25 per
person. The party starts at 1pm and ends
at 9pm. If you're not sober enough to drive
and need to crash overnight it's free,
but you'll have to stay outside in the
Mad Max-like tent city. If you want to
stay in the cabin, it'll be an extra $50
(only 8 spots available). If we get
kicked out due to "too much noise" or
"too many people", we'll reconvine at
Forest and Cedar Park. I'm contractually
obligated to not have more than 10
people in the cabin, so I'm restricting
attendees to only nominees who have paid
and have submitted their votes. Also,
tickets are nonrefundable, even if we
get kicked out (just the nature of the
beast).
Voting and ticket purchase will
be open until Sunday, Feb. 12th 11:59pm.
